New life on the farm

A couple new babies on the farm today.  The first was Late gave birth to a little calf.  Mother and Baby doing well.  Then one of the girls we have been working with came to the farm today.  She came to us before Christmas, but did not have documents.  We made arrangements for her to stay at a shelter in the City where they have Lawyers and social workers that worked with her to get all her documents in place so that both she and the baby would be legal and could register to live at the farm.  Some of you had donated to help her get settled in.  Fortunately the people that helped her these last few weeks covered most of her expenses so  now that she is at the farm we still have a little bit of money to cover them for a little while.

Olga has been out visiting some of the families that she works with.  Some times children stop coming to class, it is often a sign that there is a problem in the home,  like sickness or not enough money for basic living .

Often when we go to visit we find that the families do not have winter clothes .  Just imagine being in that place when someone shows up at your home with some food, clothes gifts and warm winter coats for your kids .

some times if we have the funds we are even able to bring the kids with us to do the shopping and let them pick out what they need.

"We all live off his generous bounty, gift after gift after gift...............and then this exuberant giving and receiving.
