Roof is on.

the guys got the roof closed in before the rain.  Still have a little bit more but it's looking great.

Today was pickled peppers... We did 55 jars ..

Olga came buy the farm for a visit .. it was nice to see her.

This made me smile.  Seeing the boys heading back from school with their new napsacks.

We have lots of raspberries to pick .. today we were helping Alina catch up with hers .

We brought a few other napsacks with us .. today one of them found the perfect home.

Zucchini and beets today

Today was a very busy day ending with a great supper up at the kashar where the guys are building a new roof.

We had a huge day of putting stuff down for the winter.   60 2lt jars of pickled beets, 18 jars of zucchini relish and 50 loaves of zucchini bread in the freezer.  We even butchered a pig and bagged it up for the freezer.

A couple of the ladies deep cleaned and organized the gift shop.
We picked 4 big grain bags of apples to give out on our travels .

In case you are wondering, the bread stops the onions juices from getting in your eyes.

Working on the farm

And just like that I missed a day .  So I will try to catch up.  Yesterday we brought a group of seniors for the day of their lives .. for many , first time ever catching a fish , first time having their nails done , first time getting a hand massage . And here is the big one , the first time eating out.   What a day.

Today has been a day working on the farm .  Fixing lights , new steps , picking raspberries and making jam and then putting the cover on the Yurt.  Tonight we will be starting coal deliveries when people get home from work.
