Just because this was a team of youth, there was no favoritism... they hit the ground running... After a short morning nap it was off to lunch then over to the playground to give out ice cream.
From there they went to visit the local church to see the damage that occurred over the long winter, and to leave the funds needed to renovate. We look forward to seeing the completed project next Saturday when we go back to help them paint.
We then picked up the kids from the town orphanage and took them all swimming at the river, then back to the orphanage for a spaghetti supper... and as expected the orphanage kids ate twice as much as the team.
