this is how they clean the carpets here... It is interesting to us because On our second trip into Central Asia this was one of the jobs the ladies did at he baby house .. first you hose down the carpet. then you sprinkle laundry soap on....suds it up, then get out the up side down bowl, and scrub... then rinse. you then squish the excess water out with a stick, and hang the carpets to dry.
Thanks, that brought back some great memories of Tashkent! I see it's okay to do this in bare feet now...maybe we started a trend! Although I see the preferred method is still socks & shoes in the end. Have a great day, Robin
