We have six of us going this trip, so that gives us 12 bags... that should be plenty of room right....wrong... I don't thing we could ever have enough room... with all the little projects that we have on the go, and all the little wish lists, space will again be at a premium... I took this photo for a different reason though ... I wanted to test a new camera. I was at a store last week, and was able to get 5 mega pixel camera's for only $19 can. I had enough money to bye 3.... well I didn't really have enough but I bought them any ways... I just thought of how much fun the kids will have... when we bring them on small group outings, we can give them a camera...other then Julie's .... and let them take pictures of there day, then we will have them printed at the end of the day so they can take a small book of photo's back with them... how cool will that be....
maybe what I will do is have a post called "Through their eye's" and post the photo's that the kids take.... stay tuned.... we leave in 10 days...

I have a great idea John...why not teach the kids a bit about photography...how to make more interesting pictures, etc. (You can find hints online about how to frame things more nicely, stuff like that) and then select the very best to create a book online for sale as a fund raiser! You could call it exactly what you were talking about "Through Their Eyes" and there are tons of sights that create books where you can lay them out, add text, etc. then make a couple of copies for the orphanages and see if we can csell any! I would help with the layout! I would be so intrigued to see what could be done...and what about that great photographer in Bishkek, maybe he could come out and give a lesson or two??
