Just hanging out....

I started the day this morning like most, I came out to find Benson busy about the morning chores, I thought maybe the novelty would were off for him , but not yet...
Jengish has a house guest for a few days as well... Jamal is from the rehab centre. Jengish found him on the streets about two years ago. He has sobered up and has been helping at the centre ever since. While the others go out on day trips to visit , he has no support network and no one to visit, as a result, he just never experiences more then just working at the centre....
The centre gave him $10 to do some shopping while he was visiting, so we matched it so he could get new dress shoes as well. apparently they only have about 4 pairs, so the men take turns using them.
We took Benson to the market with us as well and got him some new clothes as well.... despite the fact that he has worked for most of his life doing any job he could find, he has never bought new clothes for himself before. He always had to give his money to his parents to support the family..... and their drinking habits........But not today !... I was just saying to Jengish that I should have bought him a black suit and a bow tie as well.... then he would really look the part.... While at the market we found this really cute little old lady she is Dungan/Uzbeck and had no food. We gave her a little bit, then took her into a cafe and bought her supper. She was so excitedFor the rest of the day, We are just going to kick back, have supper and watch a few movies.... something that until now I had always taken for granted....

After supper I heard Acelbek talking with Altynai.. he was so excited.... not that we went shopping, but that we found this old lady and helped her... THAT was the highlight of his day... In fact he told Altynai he needs to get a good job so that he can be able to help others....

teehee, I'm laughing about shoes. I'm laughing because we would go fishing in our "church" shoes. Rememebr that bro. While everybody had a shoe for every occassion, we used our church shoes for all occassions. teehee. Keep up the good work!
