Today we had a lot of fun... We are staying in a missions house on the 7th floor . It is a very nice appartment. It was going to be just Julie and I while the girls stayed at their house, but it has been so hot , and the appartment has AC ...kind of... so we have all moved in here .
We are making a great impression on the neighbours since we arrived... Every one is a little scared of the tinny little elevator, so when we were waiting for it this morning, Julie decided she was not going in with all of us so she took the stairs... as she was rounding the corner at the 1st floor, she heard the elivator landing, so she poised herself, and as the doors opened she jumped out and screemed BOO... at wich point our neighbour had the little jump !hahahaha
Our first stop today was over to the orphanage where the girls spent a lot of their time. They had a chance to say good buy to their kids... I know how hard that can be, I think it was especialy hard for Altynai when one of her favorites took her asside and asked her if she would please adopt him.... yikes.. she handeled it very well, but I am sure that inside it was a difficult time for her.
It was nice for them to get to have a good visit....
Later in the afternoon, Ed came by the appartment for a visit with his girls as well as a few others he has working here for the rest of the summer. The Aiperie made us a wonderfull feast of Lugman... it was excellent. Then tonight we took the our girls and Ed and his girls to the movies... it was a lot of fun... we watched "STEP UP #3" in 3 D... it was in Ukranian, but fortunatly it has such a simple storey that you realy don't need the words,,,, and I had a lot of fun laughing out loud when everyone else did even though we did not understand the joke... After Emma told us she does that all the time... that way she does not have to seem interested when they try to explain jokes to her... Not sure what was more funny... ... so between Julie and I, the Girls are not quite sure what will happen next..
OK so my computer has just defaulted to Russian, so when I hit the spell check, the entire screen went yellow... either that or I have finaly succeded in spelling every single word wrong.
On another note, I think maybe it's time someone stoped by to say hi to Mom... I think maybe she needs company..( Just kidding) . here is the letter we got from her today
A LONG DAY IN JAIL, I JUST GOT BACK
AND THOUGHT I'D BETTER GO CHECK THE TRAPS.
NARY A BITE, NOT EVEN ONE OUT OF THREE.
SAT DOWN TO RELAX BUT WHAT DID I SEE ?
TIMOTHYS' TAIL SWITCHING - WHY WOULD THAT BE ?
SUDDENLY A 'SNAP'
THE REST IS HISTORY.
NOT A MOUSE NOR A RAT
BUT A DEAR LITLE VOLE
THE WEE ONE WHO ATE OUT OF NORMANS BOWL?
NO MATTER, HE'S GONE TO WHEREVER VOLES GO
WHO STICK THEIR NOSES WHERE THEY SHOULDN'T GO.
SO WHILE GRAMMY AND EMMA AND BEKAH SAY AAHH ;(
JULIE IS DANCING AND SAYING " BRING THEM ALL ON" ;))))
kidding aside, glad to hear all is well on the home front...

Bless those girls' hearts. I just can't even imagine the pull on their heartstrings when their kids ask things like whether or not they can adopt them. What heavy issues your girls deal with and so beautifully and gracefully.
So glad you are together again!!!
