I have posted so many pictures of people receiving coal that for just a moment I thought that maybe you will get tired of that . Then I stopped that thought and realized that for the people in these pictures , it is not old news.. it is a life preserving comfort to hold them over a long cold winter,, So Here are some more pictures from Tanya as she continues to get coal into the homes of those who need it most.
We are well over our intended target, but the needs continue to come in. A few days ago I shared a need for funds to purchase another 30 tons to keep up and was so pleased that those funds came in over the weekend so the boys will be back to work this week bagging and delivering.
I have a feeling that this is going to be another long and difficult winter for people. Other years we have had a second wave of people looking for coal in February, and with the pending coal shortages we would like to get the store houses ready for that need , so we will continue to keep the coal drive open for a while longer if anyone would like to help
At the farm this week, the boys were learning about different personality types and how by understanding those personalities, we can all get along better.
