Every now and then we need to take a day and re group and re pack so that we can continue the food deliveries. I know how much work is in Kyrgyzstan in the spring, and all this extra work is on top of that.
This is finishing the packing of the next 220 food packages.
Fortunately Vlad was not packing alone, He has the support of many of our good friends who have stepped in to help.
In Bishkek we are packing and getting ready for the deliveries for the blind society.
There is still $1755 needed to go to finish up shopping and paying for this food drop. We were trying to hold off a bit until the funds came in , but the needs are still just so great . There was a roomer that the seniors would not be getting a pension this month, but fortunately the government was able to find most of the money and the pensions were only cut by about 5 %. when they make so little, every penny counts though.
I have a good friend Ron who when blessing people would always tell me to look for the "exceedingly and abundantly more then we could ask or imagine." With that in mind this next food drop Vlad is preparing for the seniors will each include the missing pension funds.
