Yurt Glamping in Kyrgyzstan

"What is Glamping? Recently, a global trend has caught fire that offers outdoor enthusiasts an upgrade on rest and recreation. It's called glamping, a new word for a new kind of travel, defined as glamorous camping. When you're glamping, there's no tent to pitch, no sleeping bag to unroll, no fire to build. Whether in a tent, yurt, airstream, pod, igloo, hut, villa, cabin, cube, teepee or treehouse, glamping is a way to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing luxury."

At the farm we have been working on many different ways for us to be self sustaining and continue to provide a home, life skills training, medical needs for aged out orphan's, as well as provide fresh produce for the orphanages and institutions and families in need.
With the green houses, the bees, the orchards and guest house, we can see this coming together.

This week we have completed the latest addition to the guest house. our yurt is up and ready for rent.

We are all so thrilled with how the yurt turned out.

Situated tight against the base of the mountain, at the "cashar" ( ranch) at the yurt the guests can experience a traditional Kyrgyz lifestyle, and at the same time not give up the comforts of home.

the view out the door of the yurt looks out over the orchards in the valley below.

daily rush hours consisting of herds and herds of sheep, goats, cows and horses coming past the door on the way to and from the mountain gorge.

on the farm you can experience, and even lend a hand learning to make traditional kyrgyz meals, or just spend your afternoon visiting the animals.

With the yurt or guest house as a home base, you can experience great fishing, horse back riding, or hiking in the mountains and visiting the water falls.  We are also only minutes away from the Burana tower, one of the most historic sights on the silk road.

watch the local shepherds  play traditional horse games, and have your picture taken with a champion hunting eagle.

Everyone at the farm will do their best to make you feel a part of the family .

We will even give you a Kyrgyz name .
