BROKEN AND DISLOCATED PIECES OF THE UNIVERSE

Every summer, My niece comes to visit my mom, and together with my two girls , they always work on a "project". This year, the project was a mosaic. The four of them began the project by traveling around Peterborough looking for old pieces of coloured glass. They decided to make a new top for an old patio table that
we inherited from their great grandparents many years ago. They decided on a plan, drew it out on paper then began laying out the pieces. Before our very eyes, what was a bunch of old broken pieces of glass and a rusty table, turned into a work of art.
As I look at how they took a bunch of old recycled , rejected material, and found the beauty in it, I am reminded of how there are children and seniors around this world that are rejected and considered to have no value. fortunately God sees the potential beauty in them all.
Colossians 1: 18/20 (The Message)
"From beginning to end he's there, towering far above everything, everyone. So spacious is he, so roomy, that everything of God finds its proper place in him without crowding. Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things, animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies ."

Lets take a moment in prayer for some of the "Broken and dislocated pieces of the universe"

So much potential that others can't see, so much to offer the world. Why are people warehoused and not nurtured? I don't see broken, I see promise! Thank you God for these souls who re long forgotten!!!
