Southern Kyrgyzstan is in the midst of a humanitarian crisis. Reports coming in are that there are upwards 20 000 refugees that have been relocated from the borders with Tajikistan where houses are being bombed and burned, and civilians are being killed . I am sure that in the days and weeks to come we will start hearing more about this and humanitarian aid may even begin to flow from the larger international community, but right here, right now, we have a group of friends mobilizing to bring aid . We want to be able to move quickly to get out the first wave of response to this crisis. In 24 hours from now ( noon on Sunday ) we will send what ever funds we have been able to collect.
