A young man steps up to HELP...

This morning Emma and I met with a very ambitious young man. His sister runs one of the small orphanages here in Tokmok. He has had a good schooling, and has had opportunity to work all over the world, and is now back in Kyrgyzstan and devoting his energies to try to make a difference for the kids here.
His first order of business is to try and establish a strong bass of support for the orphanage. He is looking for both national and international sponsors.. He his big goals. He would like to see a good supply of educational materiel's for the kids .. pens paper and books...from their his vision begins to grow,.... 'We have water now, but I want to have toilets here for the kids.. from there he wants to complete a class/activity room that has stood half finished with no roof for several years... He went on to ask if we could help him set up support for school for the kids.. he wants them to have opportunity for University and college educations...
He was a little intense, but we were so encouraged to see a young Kyrgyz man taking on such a big and important roll... Just about everything that he talked about we had already noticed as a need, and have been wondering where to start... I say "just about" because he did have another request.. he has written some movies, and was wondering if I knew a movie company that would make one of his movies... he did quickly recognise that it takes millions to make a movie so maybe if we could find him a movie camera he could make his own demo movie to show the movie companies...
He then did the customary thing and brought out the juice and the bread to serve us before we were on our way.. Over the snack, he recaped, but was clear that his first and biggest need right now was that kids day in a few weeks and they had nothing to give the kids...
I have this feeling that this is going to be a message that will be played out for us everywhere we go for he next couple weeks... the question... how do you provide special gifts for hundreds of kids when you don't have the resources. I know that with resourceful people like Talant, Larisa, Vera, and now this young man working on it , they will make June 1st a wonderful success.
