Next up......... Food Hampers

Only 10 days until the official start of spring , but the gardens in Kyrgyzstan are loving it already .. We got the funds to cover the seeds that we will be picking up on Monday and start getting them ready for distribution .   The first year we did this , we had people that were so hungry that they started eating the seeds and the seed potatoes.  So since then , recognising that they will have just come through a  hard winter , we now try to bring food hampers to the families receiving seeds.   Our target for this is $10 a family @ 250 families brings us to $2500 for the food packages.   On April 1 we will start the deliveries , So our cut off for this need is March 25 , just two weeks , that will give time to transfer funds , do the shopping and prepare the food packages .   So at that time we will be able to know for sure how much we will be able to provide .   Please consider partnering with a family to help us meet this huge need .

With spring comes the spring cleaning and maintenance . The deep cold is hard on the mud block buildings and every spring we need to do repairs so that the rains do not wash them away.  As well this spring the meeting room at the farm is getting a face lift with the electrical repaired, and the cracked walls fixed.  We are trying to get this stuff done now while it is warm enough, and before the planting starts and the boys will be busy with that

Tomorrow Julie and I will be sharing in Stirling Ontario .. at Community Pentecostal Church  @ 10:30 . We would love to see you there if you are in the area and can make it out. This will be our last time of sharing before we head out on the 19th

Isaiah 58:11-12

11 The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
