It has been nice to be able to spend a little extra time with Julie's dad. He is doing a lot better, but still has a ways to go. We are on our way now to see him again before we leave, as well as have a visit with our son Benjamin and his family .. final good buys for a couple months

and on the other side of the globe , the girls are hard at it .. the prices of fresh produce are low right now, but in a couple months will be way out of reach for the students, so Emma and Bekah are busy making preserves to give out in the winter months .
Jengish and the boys are busy tonight doing another feeding of the homeless . This is from the proceeds of the wood carvings , as well as some specific donations to keep them going . they were right down to the botom of the pot, when a generous sponsor came along and provided enough money to continue feeding for another month .
I think maybe Jengish is missing Bekah's budgie a little bit .. wonder what his brothers will think if he comes home with this .
