Ready for a new list

 We have managed to complete everything on the white board . So today we cleaned it off and made the next list for when the team is here.  

 . A lovely new patio Infront of the farm yurt .

We have put strapping on the back wall of the banya after max repaired it.  Now the team can put on the siding .

Right now we are at the Kashar digging out the last of the thistles

Lots accomplished .

 Making our way through the list today, starting with figuring out why the pump is not responding when the water in the village is off.  I think we have it worked out. 

Next up we were over getting the green house all cleaned out and ready to replant.  

Max and Lotia are doing the cement slinging on the walls.

At 6:00 some of us went up to the hot springs.  

Then back to the farm for a nice roast beef dinner out on the cafe varada .  It really was top notch. 

Crossing things off the list .

 I wanted to give a little update about Mom for those who have been praying .  Mom has settled in well.  She says that she is not sure how she got there and where there is but she sure has landed in a great place.  

She has been very happy to receive visitors .. Emma and Aiden have been in regularly to see her.  Along with my sister, we have had some friends and neighbours in to visit her. 

  

Harry and Cap have arrived at the farm and after morning of touring the farm they are hard it it .

Max has been hard at work renovating the house .  The in floor heating and new poured floor is done and now they are repairing and cementing the walls .

We have refinished an old desk as set it up in the cafe .  It has a bit more space then the last table .. this gives more room to set up a breakfast for the guests rather then going to the big kitchen each time .

Just put up a mirror and moved some paintings in a guest room 

We received a donation of a new bed , so we were able to change out an old Soviet bed one of the guest house rooms 

One more thing crossed off the to do list.

We are getting things nocked off the to do list.

We are preparing to close in around the water tank.  As well as patching the walls before putting some new siding on 

Olivtina has been busy every day processing produce from the gardens 

I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered

 Today we were reminded of how faithful God is .  About 15 years ago one of our boys was sold into slavery by his aunt.  He was living with his grandmother at the time .. the aunt put the grandmother in a seniors home , sold him to a slave trader and then sold the apartment and left town.  

 We had people all over the world praying that he would be found and returned ... Eventually he escaped and made his way back to Kyrgyzstan but life from that point was very difficult for him but we continued to speak after God for him. 

Today we were so blessed to have him come for a visit at the farm and bring his beautiful family with him .. 

God definitely heard and he answered..   Talk about restoration !

The guys on the farm have been busy again shoveling more coal to be ready to start deliveries in the next week or two 

Ruslan came to work this weekend to help me make the meals for the team coming . It's great to get ahead .  You can not buy prepared meals here and everything is cooked from scratch so by cooking ahead and freezing it makes it so easy to cook good meals for everyone every day 

We even made 5 batches of zucchini bread 

Lunch was a soup made from all the left over ingredients from the meals we prepared

We have made Chicken pot pie, chilli, Lasagna, curried chicken , cabbage rolls , stuffed peppers , and spaghetti sauce . 

Today we also sorted the took bench and made sure we had all the tools that the team will need . 

I should have taken a before picture and then you would know how much work that was .

Tomorrow is a well deserved day off . 

 

What we are up to .

 We had a busy day.. there was a load of humanitarian aid supplies that needed to be unloaded so they contacted us to ask for some help from our guys .

We were going to be in Tokmok with them since we were helping someone move so we had a full truck .

After unloading the supplies we went to the bazzar and bought the building supplies needed for repairs when the team is here in a couple weeks .

Speaking of the team , they have lots of projects on the go .  They will be puting in a playground and bringing school supplies and having a party at a small remote  mountain school.

We have been building the playground and it is now ready to move to the mountain.

The team is also planing to take the guys from the farm to do some winter shopping.  They have been doing great with the fundraising so we have decided to try for the supplies and clothing for the small orphanage that we are taking bowling .

We would love some help with this .  We would like to raise another $1000 for this .

The repairs on the boys house is coming along.  The structural repairs have taken place , and we have just finished pouring new floors over some in floor heating .

Yesterday the next load of coal was delivered , so we have lots of work ahead for the boys for the next couple days ..

Still lots of guests through the guest house .. but this morning we have an hour to sit and enjoy our morning coffee.
