Another special day at the other end of the valley.

More great things happening at the other end of the Valley.. friends of
ours brought not just Christmas presents, but the whole party with them
for the kids in one of the orphanages for disabled kids. They made sure
no one was missed ... each child received a special gift and a
blanket.. They were so excited.. our friends said that they have never
seen these kids so happy as they were today... Thank you to everyone

bellow is the letter I received a few hours ago from our friends .

With the generosity of the blog we were able to provide 84 Plush pillow toys one for each bed-ridden child

254 plush blankets on for each child.

2 boxes of cookies for the bed ridden kids

70 treat bags with candy for the older kids.

A friend ours shipped 50 brand new ''Ty'' stuffed toys.

These were delivered to a crawling group

We sang for them and a few of the kids stole the show with reciting poems for us. Of course the event was not over until we dance around the Christmas tree.

They were so proud that they had a captive audience..........................It's almost certain that they will always remember today but, I'm willing to bet ..........we will too.

Again, Thank you John and to all of you who made this Christmas season one to remember. Thanks' for throwing a pie in my face for two years in row. :O)Hope to get ''pied'' next year.Hint ...Hint....Hint....:O)

Happy Families

With Christmas in the institutions well under way, the team took a
little time to visit some of the families that they have been
supporting... with a little on going support, many of these kids have
not had to experience life in an orphanage

Christmas to the Blind society

Today our friends were spread out all over the Valley , from one end to
the other kids were experiencing the Joys of Christmas. This post has
photo's from the blind society , children that are often over
looked....But again this year they met up with Talant and his merry
workers... They are going to think that Santa Clause was a big tall
Kyrgyz man.. with a booming HA HA HA rather then a HO HO HO

A SPECIAL DAY FOR BABY ORPHANAGE

Anya was especially touched when after giving out goodies to all the
kids, the little ones wanted to share with her. ..she said that it was
hard not to cry.

Emma's orphanage enjoys Christmas

Bringing Hope and Dignity to the hurting and lost is something that we have had as a mandate for many years. I don't know why I would be surprised when I see that those kids we poured into over the years would become HOPE for the future of Kyrgyzstan.
I received the latest batch of photo's from the Christmas celebrations from a small orphanage in town, but the exciting part of this is that this party was arranged and put into action by sponsored kids who understand first hand the blessing it is when some one remembers you.

These kids are at an orphanage that we always refer to as Emma's orphanage.. thats because the rest of us have not spent a lot of time with them, but Emma visits them regularly and got to be great friends with the kids when she was there for her extended stay. Aiperi has taken over where Emma has left off while she is state side. Aiperi is a good student, and time to time she wins "bonuses" from her school, and when she does she heads strait for the fruit stand to get food for the kids.

It is our prayer that this Christmas, that grace and peace will extend to you and your families, and may those simple acts of kindness continue not just in Kyrgyzstan, but in your own homes and communities around the world. From all of us to all of you , we wish you a very Mary Christmas, and we look forward to a great and exciting 2011...

Foster home and Orphanage get blessed .

Our friends began their Christmas celebrations at an orphanage for street kids.. but before going there she had an extra stop. Dave.. the restaurant owner I told you about who was donating the meal for the orphanage, heard about a small foster home we have been helping. He asked our friend to bring them a small donation... almost 75 lbs of meat products... this is such an incredible blessing for them. Then it was off to the orphanage where each child got a hamburger and a bag of treats...

Did I mention that this is an orphanage that is for street kids? every time I am here I am overwhelmed when I look around at the size of some of these "street kids"
This is another friend of ours who helps keep things rolling .. the kids love her..
There is a small coffee house that our friends help at as well. When they were telling the kids there about the parties, they all wanted to be a part of it as well.
so they helped prepare all the gift bags and even put on a special program for the kids com-pleat with music and games ..

It was a great time for all... Thank you again... I know you here it from me, but now watch this video and here it from them .
